Arthur (Mannie) Read, 54, of Stotts City, Missouri, formerly of Malden was born on July 6, 1965 in Kennett Missouri to the late Arthur T. Read, Jr. & Johnnie L. Waldrup Read. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in Stotts City, Missouri.

Arthur was a truck driver for Proctor & Gamble and was of the Pentecostal faith

His survivors include; significant other, Rhonda Ford of Stotts City, MO; son, Travis Jackson & wife, Chandra of Carthage, MO; two daughters, Angela Ward of Aurora, MO. and Tina Wiseman & husband, Travis of Dexter; two Sisters, Rita Kerr & husband, Gary of Doniphan & Reta Birch & husband, Glen of Bernie; five brothers, Roger Read & wife, Pat of Glennonville, MO. Ray Reed & wife, Ruth of Puxico, MO. Roger Brown & wife, Betty of Sullivan, MO. Rick Brewer & wife Dee of Edgar Springs, MO. and David Gasser & wife, Charlinda of Texas.

Arthur was preceded in death by his son: Billy Boone, his wife: Judy Read, his parents and 3 sisters: Nancy Waldrup, Becky Sue Waldrup and Linda Jane Ford.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden from 6-8 P.M.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden at 2:00 P.M.

Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
