A. L. Earnheart was born on Tuesday,  May 26, 1936 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Elzie Royal Earnheart and Almeda Watson Earnheart.  He departed this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Memory Lane Nursing Facility in Dexter at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 11 days.

A.L. was a farmer and served as an officer on the Malden Police Department for 17 years.  He was of the Baptist faith.  A. L. was united in marriage to Linda Lou Edwards on December 22, 1956 in Malden.  She preceded him in death on January 30, 2016.  Also preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers, W.R. "Dub" Earnheart, Vernon Earnheart, Junior Earnheart, and Ronnie Earnheart.

His survivors include:  three sons, Afton Charles Earnheart and wife Ruth Ann of Gideon, Clifford Wade Earnheart of Malden, and Scotty Dale Earnheart and wife Amy of Gideon; seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 beginning at 12 PM until service time at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 2 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
